Memories of the Four Seasons Centre
By Cecily CarverPosted in Four Seasons CentreThis summer, the Four Seasons Centre celebrated its five-year anniversary, and we asked our twitter followers to share their favourite memories of the building. Here are a few of the highlights:
@gingerhat: Sudden death in family day before Elektra opened. Sang, somehow. RB [Richard Bradshaw] in dressing rm, after: big hug & "thanks for doing this".
@operarunner: wonderful Richard Bradshaw, who had the vision and faith that Toronto could have an opera house
@racheldubs: meeting @SimoneOsborne and having a backstage tour, so exciting and inspiring! best wishes for the next five!
@giannawichelow: Too hard to pick. Staff getting to go onstage for curtain call of last Götterdämmerung, then opening chorus in War and Peace!
@JessicaMuirhead: I loved the #hardhat concerts! Remember how amazing the kids were when told 2 be quiet for the acoustic tests?
@stephapps: Volunteering for concert for schools in 2006. Feedback - 10 yr. old: "Yo man, those bathrooms are SICK!"
@Rinatshaham: Had such a pleasant surprise to do a Carmen run with you! Best ever jump-in for me! :) Hope to return soon! Xoxo
