The winner of the Cinderella Outfit Challenge (see the five finalists here) is due to be announced today (Friday), and among the spoils set aside for the winner is a gift basket from Cheese Boutique. The contents have been selected to match the characters in the opera Cinderella (La Cenerentola): 

For Cinderella: Cendrillon, of course, is the French name for Cinderella, and the cheese "Le Cendrillon" recently was named best in the world.  

For the Prince: Royal Windsor 

For Cinderella's father, Don Magnifico: Aged vintage cheddar

For the ugly stepsisters: Prima Donna (this would also be appropriate for Ariadne auf Naxos)

For Cinderella's rodent companions: Smoked applewood cheddar
